Any faculty, staff or student can set their preferred first name associated with their account. This is the name that shows up as your email display name (not email address), your name in Quercus, on Zoom, and various administrative systems like ESS and FIS.

Your utoronto.ca email address can be changed via the UTORid service page, however the .lastname@ portion is not editable. Your UTORid cannot be changed. Be aware that if you change your email address, you cease receiving mail sent to your previous address.
The UTORid service page is also where you can change your account password. We recommend you change your password about once a year, or any time you experience suspicious account activity.
